Lady Royd provides a happy, caring, and safe learning environment where all our pupils thrive. Children are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to ensuring that every pupil reaches their full potential.
Along with an inspiring and engaging curriculum, we provide our pupils with a wide range of opportunities and experiences to demonstrate and develop our school ASPIRE values, and help them to become successful, lifelong learners in a diverse and ever-changing modern world.
The school is at heart of the community, and we regard strong relationships with families, parents, and carers as incredibly important in building effective partnerships that help all our pupils Aspire, Succeed, Lead.

We are extremely proud of the extensive extra-curricular clubs which we offer our pupils in all year groups. Sports clubs and musical activities are particularly popular, and pupils gain enormous confidence from performances in dramatic productions, concerts, assemblies, sports matches, festivals and competitions.
